Delivery and Returns

What payment methods do you accept? 
Payments are can be made through PayPal or using your credit/debit card. If you do not have a PayPal account you can still use this method and select use PayPal as a guest and pay by debit/credit card. No card details are seen or kept by us. {Please note your order will be shipped to your address provided by your PayPal account please check these details are correct.}

What are your delivery charges?
Royal Mail Large Letter -£1.50 per item Small Parcels via Royal Mail or Courier £3.75

So, I have completed the PayPal checkout now what happens? 
Dotty dough is made to order sometimes I may have stock on hand, I always aim to make and dispatch within 3-5 days from receiving payment, however this may be slightly longer at busy periods. If for any reason a problem arises you will be contacted and kept up to date. Delivery takes up to three working days if your parcel I has not arrived after 5 days please contact me. Goods damaged in transit must be reported to ourselves within 24 hours. Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays are non-working days and therefore orders received on these days will be processed on the next working day.  All delivery dates are estimates and we cannot guarantee specific deadlines. Please note, we cannot be held responsible for any third party involvement where delays occur to deliveries or where delays are caused by adverse weather conditions.

How will my items arrive?
Delivery for parcels is made using collect plus, Royal Mail or Parcelforce.

Can you send to any areas of the UK?
It is possible to dispatch to remote locations which includes IM, HS, ZE postcodes may in cure an extra £2.00 charge.

Can you send items outside of the UK?
Delivery is currently in the UK only. Some dough tools can be sent to Europe, Canada and U.S.A when purchased via my Etsy store.

What packaging do you use?
Where possible, to reduce waste and help with our packaging costs, we reuse the boxes for our deliveries to you.

Do you offer local delivery?
Delivery can be arranged in my local area Whitby, North Yorkshire please contact me to arrange before you place you order.

Oh no, my items have arrived and I’m not happy! What should I do?
I hope you are delighted with your order. If you are not completely satisfied with a product please contact me at [email protected]  You have a 7 day cooling off period, in which time if you change your mind, the item must be returned to us at your cost, following written communication as to why you wish to return the item. We would recommend obtaining proof of postage as shipping and delivery costs are non refundable.The refund will be processed once the item has returned. Any items returned must be as sold and suitable for resale i.e. all parts and packaging must be intact and included. Buy it now items that have been personalised (such as personalised play dough mats) are exempt from this term, refunds will not be offered on personalised goods unless faulty - this is in line with the distance selling regulations. In the event of any product being faulty a refund or exchange will be made at our cost.

What is your cancellations procedure?
You may cancel an order at any time before it has been dispatched. To cancel your order after it has been dispatched to you, you will need to follow the Returns procedure as stated above.
